Dhisana D’Sa, the artist behind Beau Clay Arts, creates whimsical, dreamlike paintings that transform painted surfaces into small windows of reverie. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Waterloo, her creative practice is shaped by a deep appreciation for composition, atmosphere, and thoughtfully crafted spaces.

Drawing from her architectural background, Dhisana approaches painting as a way of designing worlds rather than buildings. Her
work unfolds across vintage mirrors, on which she paints soft skies, glowing landscapes, and storybook scenes that appear as though they were discovered rather than painted. Each piece is designed to feel a little magical, like catching a glimpse of another world just beyond the surface.
